See Page Referrals by Mike Overly

The "see page" referrals found in the "Notes" section at the bottom of the page in both Guitar and Bass EncycloMedia point you to pages that are ahead (in the future), and behind (in the past) of the page you are currently studying.  This is because Guitar and Bass EncycloMedia are "interactive", that is, each idea contained in EncycloMedia is linked to other ideas that may appear to connect "out of order".

These "out of order" connections are created because there are many, many paths through EncycloMedia, according to what you are studying at the moment.  For example, if you were only studying chords, before you would get to the next chord page you would find that you have to skip over the pages that present scales, modes, arpeggios and perhaps theoretical information before you would encounter the next page that presents chords. In this way, Guitar and Bass EncycloMedia would appear to be "out of order", however, it is really "in order" based upon the topic you are studying.  Said another way, sometimes you may proceed in sequence (a method), and at other times you may follow a seemingly random "out of order" reference approach.

What I'm trying to say is that there is not just one way to proceed through EncycloMedia, but as many ways as there are learners who use it.

Remember, it is by teaching that we are taught, so, thank you in advance for your "editorialship". Be sure to keep in touch and together we shall move forward through Guitar and Bass EncycloMedia.  Hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Mike Overly
